Double click the Spybot icon, and close the chores folder. Open >Search for updates >Select any download place in the USA and click "Continue". Download all updates, and click "Exit". In the left column, click "Search & Destroy". At the top of page,click "Check for Problems". This scan can take over an hour. |

Open ->MAINTANANCE ->Update engine and virus database ->update program ->SCAN COMPUTER ->Choose Quick Scan or Full Scan. ...The Full Scan can take an hour or longer. If you suspect a virus, or want to do a thorough scan, Choose Boot time Scan, and then open the drop menu and choose "All harddisks, and Click Schedule Now, then reboot. If an infection is found, avast will give you choices to choose. Choose carefully. |
